My Gay Awakening is a charity zine from Moon Goon Publishing celebrating the legacy of the women in animation who have served as icons for many young queer girls. Over 100 artists collaborated to create this zine full of illustrations and comics featuring strong female role models from properties such as Sailor Moon, DC Comics, Steven Universe, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, and many more. All proceeds from book and merchandise sales went to Outright Action International, a non-profit for LGBTQ advocacy around the world.
I was the lead graphic designer for this project.
